LessonPaths describes itself as using “The Problem & The Solution”:
Online learning has made it easier than ever to become an expert at what you love. But tracking down free, accurate resources that make learning feel like carving a double black diamond can be a real pain. Even with the world at our fingertips, it’s easy to get bogged down clicking through millions of search results.
The truth is out there. It’s just buried beneath billions of tweets, blogs, and keyboard cat videos.
With two million people searching for something online every single minute, why don’t we all work together to map the best of the web for how to learn anything?
LessonPaths’ online learning platform allows anyone with a passion for what they do to curate websites, videos, blogs, and more into Learning Playlists. So instead of searching alone, people all around the world can work together to show off what they know and learn from each other.
Everyone deserves the chance to discover their talents. And nobody should be kept from realizing their potential because they don’t have access to a good education, mentors, and other curious minds.
At LessonPaths, we’re fueled by the belief that education is a basic human right, and we aim to organize the highest quality information on everything worth knowing by bringing out the expert in everyone.
LessonPaths allows you to curate webpages, videos, blogs and more into what they call Learning Playlists. They offer playlists targeted toward academics (a recreational section is offered too!) that are sorted into the following categories: Math, Science, Technology, Social Studies, English/Reading, Language, Art, Music, Health, Teachers, Business Studies, and Universities. LessonPaths also offers the ability to browse by viewing the top tags in each category. The creation process for playlists is very simple, one page for settings and it’s a wrap! At that point you can add resources (and quizzes!) as need to create your blended lesson.
